I trusted you
I needed you beside me
But when I turned to look
You were never in my sight

I wanted you
I needed to be held
But even in your arms
You were never really with me.

I dreamed of you
I felt your body next to mine
But still I knew I was really alone
Because I knew I'd soon wake up

I trusted you
To be always on my side
But the moment I needed saving
That's when you turned on me

I wanted you
I needed to be loved
But even at your side
You never showed you cared

I dreamed of you
I dreamed you had my back
But still I knew you'd turn on me
